Featuring wines from Marchesi  Fumanelli

with guest of honor The Marquis Armando Fumanelli, Proprietor of Marchesi Fumanelli. Since 1470 and for 34 generations the Marchesi Fumanelli Family has been producing excellent wines from their winery. The historic Squarano Estate is situated in the heart of the most classic part of Valpolicella near Verona. Our chef's this evening were family owners of the Mai-Kai Restaurant: Mireille Thornton, Dave Levy & Kulani Gelardi whom prepared their favorite Italian dishes to everyones delight. Parts of the proceeds from the wine dinner was donated to Project Amazonas, Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of the Peruvian tropical rain forest and provision of medical services to its native people.
